At The Face Place Acne + Esthetics we specialize in treating + clearing acne with corrective facials backed by a holistic and scientific approach. The owner and licensed esthetician, Sophia, has been in the esthetics industry for 8 years and has been a certified acne specialist for 5. We were awarded Top 10 Spas in Oakland County in 2025 and believe it’s because of our unique passion for acne, as well as the empathy and connection we have with our clients. Watching our client’s confidence grow as we work together to improve their skin concerns and hit their goals is incredibly rewarding. Our mission is that every person that steps into our treatment room will leave as their most confident self. We all deserve to feel good in our own skin. Our facials are grouped by time and are fully customizable for all skin types. If you want to combine more than 1 specialty treatment in your facial such as dermaplaning, oxygen treatment, carboxy, nano-infusion, or the firming peptide mask you need to book a 90-minute facial so that we have adequate time. Dermaplaning takes 20-30 minutes so we also recommend booking a 90-minute facial if you'd like to include dermaplaning. Peppermint scalp massage and hand treatments can be added on for $10 each
